Welcome to the Gifted Kids Educational Foundation Blog. I am happy to introduce our newest web resources for families and educators. The purpose of this site is to provide families and teachers with the resources needed to empower families to have the tools necessary for the success of the family unit as a whole. The site gives you the ability to setup and participate in discussion groups in your local area so that you can take part in shaping the outcome of this site.

We are living in unpresidented difficult economic times. The people who have been affected the most, unfortunately, are the most vulnerable - the working class poor. We have added resources to help families who are facing hardship to find the help they need. We have added a section on "Foreclosure Prevention" and within the family and teacher resource pages we have added links to places where families can find assistance. Resources included on this site include:
  • Teacher Resources (Professional Development Conference videos, forms, powerpoint, links, etc.)
  • Parent Resources (including resources for families facing crisis situations) - where to turn for free or low-cost quality after school and tutoring programs. Includes links to schools, libraries and Universities throughout the U.S.
  • Kids Educational Links page (Educational links, flash cards, educational videos, etc.)
  • Teens Educational Links page (Educational links, flash cards, educational videos, financial literacy links, teen entrepreneur resources, etc.)
  • College Student - link to scholarships, credit by exam options, grants, resume writing, financial literacy, etc.
  • Adults - Employment Links (Legitimate Work-At-Home Opportunities, etc.)
  • Seniors - Links to resources for seniors and ways in which grandparents can empower grandchildren to develop their potential.
  • Adults - Where to turn for help on Foreclosure prevention. Includes links to Foreclosure Prevention agencies throughout the U.S.
  • Resources for Disabled Family members

We believe that by providing families with these resources, the family unit as a whole will benefit.
